Just in time for the summer season, the 400-foot Lürssen superyacht Kismet, previously known as Project Jag, has been delivered to Shahid Khan, the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Crafted by the esteemed German shipyard Lürssen, its exterior was designed by Nuvolari Lenard, and its interior was envisioned by Reymond Langton Design. Kismet stands as an emblem of unparalleled luxury, setting a benchmark for excellence within the industry. With a reported price tag of $360 million, it doesn’t claim the title of the world’s most expensive yacht, but it certainly doesn’t come cheap either.
Renowned for his discerning and undeniably opulent preferences, the Pakistani American billionaire requested a design that evoked a sense of opulence and indulgence for the interior of the previous Kismet, sometimes referred to as the “Champagne and caviar” theme. The renderings suggest a striking ambiance with an ornate staircase reminiscent of the video walls from the original Kismet. Fireplaces, expansive floor-to-ceiling glass panels, and intricate paint and marble details throughout the interior add to its allure.
The layout features eight spacious cabins accommodating up to 12 guests, alongside quarters for a crew of 36. The owner’s suite includes a generously-sized stateroom, dual bathrooms, two dressing rooms, and a private terrace complete with a Jacuzzi. Furthermore, the owner’s office offers panoramic vistas, a conference table seating up to six, and a dedicated pantry for added convenience.
Kismet offers a haven for wellness enthusiasts, housing a Balinese-inspired spa featuring a hammam, sauna, cryotherapy chamber, and a secluded treatment room furnished with a massage table, waterfall shower, and chromotherapy bathtub.
The dedicated gym and yoga studio boast expansive sea terraces ideal for yoga and meditation, complemented by a juice bar offering refreshing beverages.
The yacht boasts a comprehensive array of water sports equipment, featuring Jet Skis and SeaBobs, e-foils, Flitescooters, an Aquaglide floating deck, an inflatable slide, dive gear, and a unique feature: a basketball and pickleball court situated forward of the master cabin on the foredeck.
