After completing successful sea trials following its May launch, the first vessel in Otam’s premier 90 GTS series, named Sexy Me, has been delivered to its experienced owner. Designed by Umberto Tagliavini and Aldo Scorzoni of Marine Design & Services, with bespoke interiors by Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design Firm, the 27.75-meter yacht will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2024, coinciding with Otam‘s 70th anniversary.
The Otam 90 GTS boasts extensive customization options, extending even to its engineering. Owners can personalize their yacht by choosing between a hard top or soft top for the main deck, full or half-height side windows for a more open feel, including or omitting a side passage door, and selecting a single or double hull window for the master suite.
According to Otam, the vessel is outfitted with dual 2,600 hp MTU engines, Arneson surface propellers, and stabilizers, promising exhilarating speed, seamless navigation, agile handling, and exceptional seafaring capabilities. The Otam 90 GTS ‘Sexy Me’ exceeds its contracted speed of 42 knots, reaching a top speed of 45 knots, propelled by its twin 2,600 horsepower MTU engines. The shipyard guarantees “remarkable silence at all speeds” due to premium sound insulation.
“This OTAM 90 GTS is a complete yacht, absolutely versatile, with an elegant and balanced design that refuses to age,” said in a statement Otam’s sales and communication manager Matteo Belardinelli. “Capable of satisfying very diverse requests, thanks to unmatched engineering at its core. We are extremely pleased with our new product, which is already generating truly interesting reactions even before its official presentation!”
The accommodation includes a full-beam master suite, VIP cabin, and guest cabin, along with a lounge, daybed, and office space below deck; the main deck features a spacious cockpit with an opening hard top, a generous sunbathing area aft, and a bathing platform, with additional dining and relaxation space forward.
