JAY-Z Becomes First Owner of $340K Bugatti Tourbillon Watch

JAY-Z, a longtime friend of Jacob & Co. and renowned for his impressive collection of luxury timepieces, made a standout appearance at Fanatics Fest, sporting a Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon watch valued at approximately $340,000.

Drawing inspiration from Bugatti’s latest hyper sports car, the Tourbillon watch mirrors the car’s iconic design and cutting-edge technology. The 52 mm x 44 mm case is modeled after the car’s body, showcasing elements such as the front grille, side radiator inlets, and large sapphire side windows.

Inside, the watch is powered by a V16 engine block automaton carved from a single block of transparent sapphire, paying homage to Bugatti’s groundbreaking engine architecture, while the 30-second flying tourbillon and retrograde hours and minutes, designed to mimic the RPM counter, exemplify feats of engineering that push the boundaries of horology.

Jacob the Jeweler, whose real name is Jacob Arabo, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a video of JAY-Z sporting a $340,000 Bugatti Tourbillon watch. In the post, Arabo highlighted the watch’s hefty price tag and wrote, “My dear friend @jayz was the first to own the 5 time zone watch. 25 years later, he’s the first to own the bugatti tourbillon.”
