Renowned fashion curator Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi has launched an exciting collaboration with Porsche, inspired by the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera T, crafted through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. This partnership seamlessly blends the timeless appeal of automotive design with the enduring elegance of classic fashion.
The car, adorned in a retro-inspired sepia brown finish reminiscent of the 1970s—the decade of Poggy’s birth—beautifully embodies his vision of effortless everyday elegance.
“The Porsche 911 changed my life. Since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by supercars after seeing them in books. I’ve always loved cars, but when it came time to buy one, I focused on practicality and design. Three years ago, influenced by friends, I bought a used 911 (Type 996). The excitement I felt the first time I drove it is something I’ll never forget. Beyond the joy of driving and my passion for cars, I now enjoy wearing clothes that feature my favorite automobiles, just like wearing a T-shirt of my favorite band. From there, I became involved in car communities. I want to continue driving a 911 for the rest of my life.” – The renowned fashion curator, shared on Instagram.
The collection is a reflection of Poggy’s dreams, orbiting around Porsche and the unique qualities that make it an object of global desire. Inspired by style icons such as Jackie Stewart and Princess Diana, the collection exudes timeless elegance with a nostalgic flair. Showcasing tartan patterns and effortlessly chic pairings such as casual V-neck sweaters with blazers, it pays homage to an era where luxury effortlessly intertwined with simplicity.
The collection and Poggy’s car will be showcased at SELECT by BAYCREW’S Toranomon Hills Station Tower in Tokyo, alongside a limited-edition apparel line co-created with BAYCREW’S.
Prices for the collection range from ¥13,200 to ¥60,500 JPY (approximately $84 to $387 USD).
