McLaren has unveiled a special-edition 750S Le Mans, a fitting tribute to one of its most iconic racing triumphs: the 30th anniversary of its inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans victory. In 1995, the McLaren F1 GTR—driven by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya—defied expectations by beating heavily favored prototypes. As a road car adapted for endurance racing, its win was a defining moment in motorsport history and a bold showcase of McLaren’s engineering brilliance. The 750S Le Mans Edition celebrates this extraordinary legacy.
On the outside, the special edition brings more than just a splash of color. Available in Le Mans Grey or McLaren Orange, it also features a number of visual and performance details that nod to the original F1 GTR.
The special-edition 750S comes equipped with 5-spoke Le Mans wheels, gold brake calipers inspired by F1, carbon fiber front fenders with gloss black louvres, gloss black trim details, a natural titanium exhaust tip, and painted Le Mans branding. These elements complete the exterior upgrades—but the enhancements don’t stop there.
The 750S also gets the new MSO High Downforce Kit, featuring a raised carbon fiber rear spoiler, larger front splitter, and rear wing. These upgrades boost downforce by 10% and echo the aerodynamic design of the legendary F1 LM.
“The 750S Le Mans marks not just 30 years since our debut victory in the iconic race but an exciting time for the brand with McLaren GT3 EVO cars competing in this year’s race and the announcement of our return to the top, Hypercar class in 2027.
This exclusive 750S is the first McLaren Le Mans edition since the F1 LM to feature HDK aerodynamic enhancements and is set to become one of our most sought-after supercars, with previous Le Mans editions of the 650S and 720S commanding a premium over standard models.” – Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Automotive.
The interior offers a choice of Carbon Black Alcantara or Jet Black leather, both accented with either Dove Grey or McLaren Orange Alcantara. For seating, buyers can opt for McLaren’s mid-tier bucket seats or the more extreme carbon racing seats from the Senna, which come complete with a five-point harness and minimal padding.
McLaren hasn’t announced any changes to the 740bhp, mid-mounted 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. In the standard (non-High Downforce) version, it still hits 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and boasts a top speed of 206 mph—more than enough performance for most drivers.
McLaren hasn’t revealed the price yet, but it’s expected to cost well above the £252,650 price of the standard 750S. The 750S Le Mans Edition follows earlier tributes like the 650S and 720S Le Mans, but it raises the bar with sharper aerodynamics, increased power, and greater exclusivity. Limited to just 50 units, it stands as the most focused and refined of McLaren’s Le Mans commemorative models.
