Swiss watchmaker Oris celebrates the partnership between Oris and Audi Sport with a new limited edition timepiece, the Oris Audi Sport chronograph. The watch features a 44mm titanium case; it has an AR-coated sapphire crystal display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters (10 bar). Known as the the “Holy Grail” of watches, the Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication is a masterpiece of horology. Previously auctioned by Sotheby’s in 1999 for $11 million, the timepiece has been sold ten days ago at auction for a record-breaking CHF 23,237,000 (Approx. $24.4 million). Commissioned by New York banker Henry Graves in 1925 the watch consists of 920 individual components including 430 screws, 110 wheels, 120 mechanical levers or parts, 70 jewels and 24 different horological complications – and took a total of eight years to complete. Christmas at Claridge’s is a very special time of year. For the second time in a row, the five star hotel has teamed up with long-time friends and guests of the hotel Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, to create a lavish 22 ft Christmas tree, and as expected it is bellissimo! Inspired by their childhood memories, the 8-metre high tree is covered in 300 hand-painted glass baubles, hand painted with international flags.
