Following four generations of the legendary two-door BMW M3, the BMW Concept M4 Coupé has officially made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
“The BMW Concept M4 Coupé reflects the BMW M philosophy in its ideal form,” stated Friedrich Nitschke, Chairman of the BMW Managing Board. “It seamlessly blends motor racing DNA with unrestricted everyday usability within a highly emotional design concept.”
The exterior of the Concept M4 is strikingly distinguished, finished in an exclusive “Aurum Dust” paint developed specifically for this model. To emphasize its performance pedigree, the vehicle features prominent carbon-fiber components, including the front splitter, rear diffuser, and the entire roof. While the design has captured the spotlight, BMW has yet to release official details regarding the suspension and powertrain.

BMW’s M division continued pushing motorsport-inspired design later that year, building on the momentum of the M3 DTM Champion Edition unveiled earlier in 2013.
