Mercedes x Rotwild Unveil New MTB Inspired by AMG GT

Mercedes-AMG joined forces with German bicycle manufacturer Rotwild to create a mountain bike inspired by the new Mercedes‑AMG GT. Combining high performance materials with refined chassis technology and a unique design, the bike is intended for the toughest off-road conditions on the basis of professional feedback from the top athletes in the AMG ROTWILD MTB racing team. The mountain bike is equipped Shimano XTR Di2 drive technology which is controlled via electronic shifting, AMG R1 Racing FCS disc brakes and 29-inch carbon fiber wheels with Continental Race King tires.

“The mixture of bike racing, an unmistakable design and German engineering expertise is the connecting link between AMG and Rotwild. Our shared passion for high-performance products will continue to inspire our partnership in the future.” said in a press release Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG.

Limited to just 100 units, the hand-built carbon-fibre bike will be available in May for an asking price of €9990 (around $11,000USD).
