Louis Vuitton officially redefined the intersection of luxury and streetwear with the debut of its collaboration with Supreme during the Fall 2017 men’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week.
“You can’t have the conversation of New York menswear without Supreme right now,” noted Kim Jones, Louis Vuitton’s then-men’s artistic director, “because it’s such a massive global phenomenon.”
The collection seamlessly merged heritage luxury with street culture, featuring co-branded denim, bespoke trunks, camo jackets, and exclusive jewelry. Among the most coveted pieces were the three distinct bag styles and the highly sought-after trunk-style iPhone cases.
