Givenchy just sent models down the Paris runway wearing leather masks, and nobody saw it coming. The masks appeared in the Spring/Summer 2011 accessories collection for men, one in black and one in white, both looking like something between a fashion statement and a heist movie prop. The French luxury house has done dark and edgy before, but this is a full step beyond studded bags and printed tees.
Rumors say the masks might actually go into production. Givenchy has not confirmed anything, which of course has everyone talking. If they do release them, expect a waitlist and a price tag that makes you blink.
