Ferrari showed off the 599XX Evoluzione at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show, and it’s basically what happens when engineers go wild on a race car. This thing was built purely for track use, no road rules to follow.
They completely overhauled the aerodynamics and bolted on a fresh exhaust system. The result? The 6.0-litre V12 now pumps out 750 hp at 9,000 rpm with 516 lb-ft of torque. That’s 30 more horses than before, and they managed to shed 35 kg in the process.
Here’s the catch: only 29 owners from Ferrari’s Corse Clienti program got their hands on this beast. It was part of a two-year racing development deal for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. If you weren’t already deep in Ferrari’s racing circle, you weren’t getting one.
