Leading watchmakers Citizen link up with Toyota on a special limited edition watch “Citizen x Toyota 86”, in honor of Toyota’s new GT-86 coupe. The Citizen x Toyota 86 Eco Drive is available in three colors: Red, White, Black ; and comes packaged in a custom mock carbon fiber box. Limited to 860 units each, available for pre-order at BEAMS online shop in Japan for ¥38,600 (Approx. $493 USD). Release date: 14 June.
Japanese watchmaking has produced other striking design collaborations — a few months earlier, designer Satoshi Wada partnered with Issey Miyake on the W Chronograph, blending the fashion house’s minimalist aesthetic with precision timekeeping.
