Omega has been the official watch of James Bond since 1995. From the debut of Pierce Brosnan to the finale of Daniel Craig, every 007 film for the past thirty years has featured Omega on the wrist. This long-standing relationship continues today, with Omega offering fans a variety of tribute models from the nautically-inspired Seamaster collection.
“We are extremely proud of this collection. Omega has been the watch of James Bond for more than 30 years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection,” Raynald Aeschlimann, president and CEO of Omega, said in a press statement. “Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both.”
Omega Seamaster Diver 300m Spectre
Omega’s Spectre collection starts where every Bond story starts: with the villains. It honors the shadowy organization from Ian Fleming’s world, present in three original novels and eight films. The first model, ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023, is a 42mm steel piece with a grainy black dial and black ceramic bezel. Skeletonised hands, lumed hands and markers, oversized hour indices.

On the wrist, it’s just another clean, unassuming Diver 300M, and that’s the whole trick. No self-respecting evil organization advertises itself. The reveal comes when you take the watch off: through the sapphire caseback, the Spectre octopus logo stares back at you from the automatic rotor. Inside beats a calibre 8806, upgraded with that custom rotor to earn the name 8806 Spectre, and it runs for 55 hours on a full wind. The 42mm steel case and mesh bracelet match the rest of the family. Subtle on the front, sinister on the back. This thing is cool.

Now for the hero’s side. The Bond half of the collection mirrors the Spectre half: one standalone steel model, plus a limited-edition boxset pairing it with a platinum-gold version. The steel model gets a titanium bezel and a blue aluminium dial, laser engraved with waves. Look at 12 o’clock and you’ll spot a custom hour marker carrying a little arrow motif.

Inside ticks the calibre 8806 James Bond, sharing its Spectre sibling’s specs: 55-hour power reserve, co-axial escapement, Master Chronometer certification. The custom rotor steals the show, carrying a gun barrel motif and the 007 logo, all on display through the sapphire caseback. Yes, we’ve seen gun barrel casebacks before, but never quite like this.
