French watchmaker Cartier will be releasing this Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal Watch, based on the Cartier ID One Concept Watch which was announced in 2009. Limited edition of only 50 pieces, the Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal watch will come in a 47mm wide niobium-titanium case, with carbon crystal components (diamond coated silicon escapement mechanism) and an adjustment and lubrication-free pallet and escapement wheel. No word on price, but for sure it will still carry a six-figure price tag. Coming in 2013. Check out a video detailing after the break.
