Bentley has added a new member to the Continental GT family with the addition of a new Continental GT V8 S version. Available as both a coupe and convertible, the new model comes powered by an uprated version of the standard car’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine, bringing the horsepower rating from 500 to 521, while torque increases from 487 lb-ft to 502 lb-ft. Visually, the car is set apart by unique lower-body styling, with revised side sills, a rear diffuser, a front splitter, and a blacked-out radiator grille that make it look sharper. Bentley will officially unveil the Continental GT V8 S at next week’s Frankfurt Auto Show. Deliveries of the new Continental V8 S start in early 2014. No word on price yet.
