British tuner Kahn Design has unveiled its latest project: a heavily modified Land Rover Defender dubbed the “Chelsea Longnose.” Under the hood, a potent V8 engine delivers 495 bhp, paired with a six-speed transmission and upgraded differentials. According to Afzal Kahn, owner and chief designer at A.Kahn Design, this creates “probably the fastest Land Rover on the planet.” The luxury extends to the interior, which features leather racing seats, optional satellite navigation, and elegant tweed trim detailing. With only 49 examples planned for production, the Chelsea Longnose is a rare collector’s piece starting at £89,950 (approx. $147,975).
That same month, Land Rover also introduced the Defender Black and Silver Pack, a more understated special edition focused on styling rather than raw horsepower.
