British luxury mobile phone manufacturer, Vertu has announced its latest high-end smartphone, the Vertu Signature Touch. The smartphone sports a 4.7in full HD screen, Hasselblad “certified” camera, Bang & Olufsen speakers; and is made from premium materials like grade 5 titanium, sapphire crystal layer on the screen, and hand-finished calf leather in a variety of colours and styles.

We have deliberately elected to excel in the areas that are most relevant to our customer base, however, namely the audio and imaging. The fact that we have met the very exacting standards of B&O, Dolby and Hasselblad illustrates the lengths that our engineers have gone to, to deliver an exceptional user experience for our customers.”
Under the hood sits a quad core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.3GHz, running Android 4.4 KitKat. You also get a 13MP rear camera, 64GB of storage and a 2,275mAh battery that charges wirelessly. As with every Vertu, the phone ships with the company’s full concierge service, plus its Life and Certainty support packages.
The Signature Touch goes on sale in stores this June, priced at £6,750, which works out to roughly $11,300. Whether the titanium and calf leather justify that number is up to you.
