Italian designer Giuliano Mazzuoli unveiled a masterpiece in marble: the Carrara wristwatch. Created as a tribute to his beloved Tuscan home, each case is manually made by Italian master marble workers. Used for centuries in Italian artwork, Carrara marble is universally recognized as the most prestigious marble in the world, and it is typically characterized by its white color and dark gray veins of varying tones. Each lot of marble is different and each stone has its own characteristics making every piece of Giuliano Mazzuoli’s Carrara watch unique.
The cases are sized at 44.5mm wide (and 13.5mm thick) fitted with a metal inner ring between the case and movement; while the ceramic dial is available in gun metal, blue or white colors.
Inside the Giuliano Mazzuoli Carrara Three-Hand model is an automatic mechanical Swiss ETA 2824-2, while the chronographs will feature a La Joux-Perrett 7771. The time-only Carrara model retails for $4,900 and the Carrara Chronograph’s retail price is $7,900.
