SIHH 2015 – Hublot Unveils Six New Timepieces in Geneva

The 25th edition of Geneva’s Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) started today and Hublot set the tone with six amazing new timepieces. We’ve got your first look at these new watches. The first timepiece is the Hublot Big Bang Unico “Magic Gold” – this watch features probably the most scratch-resistant gold bezel ever designed. It features a 45.5 mm case, made from micro-blasted black ceramic with polished sides. Inside is the HUB 1242 UNICO movement with black PVD treatment, developed and manufactured in-house by Hublot. The novelty is completed by a structured, ribbed black rubber strap with interchangeable system.

The second one is Hublot Big Bang Broderie, a sexy and glamourous watch powered by an HUB1110 automatic mechanical movement featuring 63 components and 21 jewels, with 42-hour power reserve. The ultra-feminine watch Big Bang Broderie is initially available in 3 versions: gold, silver or All Black, studded with black diamonds. The novelty is supplied with a black rubber and silver, gold, or black embroidery on 100% black silk strap.

The timepiece number four is Hublot Spirit of Big Bang All Black, a totally black, totally matt and totally faithful to Hublot’s signature concept, the Spirit of Big Bang (my favourite from the new reveals). The piece is powered by the new Hublot HUB4700 movement, redesigned through close collaboration between Hublot and Zénith teams; based on a Zenith El Primero chronograph “chassis” with date (frequency 5 Hz, 36,000 beats per hour, 278 components, 31 jewels). The novelty is completed by a ribbed black rubber strap with black PVD titanium deployant buckle and black ceramic insert.

It has been specially fitted with a practical power reserve indicator, visible on the dial side. Inside is the HUB6016 hand-wound Tourbillon skeleton movement with power reserve indicator on the dial side at 9 o’clock, entirely developed and produced in-house at Hublot.
