Inspired by a model from the 1950s and 60s, Swiss manufacturer Breitling introduces a new chronometer-certified chronograph, the Breitling Chronoliner. The authentic flight captain’s watch features a 46.00 mm Steel case with a bidirectional ceramic bezel – one of the hardest synthetic materials; while the caseback bears the stylized planes that were a longtime Breitling signature. Inside is the Swiss manual-wind Breitling in-house caliber 24 with 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph, with a power reserve of 42 hours. The novelty is complemented by a comfortable and distinctive steel mesh bracelet available in two version Ocean Classic Steel and Navitimer Steel. No word on price. TBA
*Update- Breitling Chronoliner will sell for $10,715 on leather and $11,200 on a steel mesh bracelet.
