Swiss luxury watchmaker Chopard introduced at BaselWorld 2015 a complete new Mille Miglia line, the Mille Miglia GTS. Housed in a 44mm x 13.9mm case in stainless steel or in 18kt rose gold. has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back bearing the inscriptions “Mille Miglia” and “Brescia > Roma > Brescia”. It is powered by the self-winding Chopard Calibre 01.08-C entirely designed, developed and assembled in the Fleurier Ebauche workshops. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer. The novelty is completed by a black rubber strap inspired by 1960s Dunlop racing tyres or a stainless steel bracelet with a steel or 18kt rose gold folding clasp.
