Swiss watchmaker Tudor unveiled a video capturing the amazing process of their colorful, patterned fabric watch straps. Drawing inspiration from NATO straps from the early ’70s, the straps are meticulously fashioned by a traditional passementerie company, one of the very few remaining in France still practising the technique of “Jacquard” weaving. Watch the video after the break to see the careful attention to detail.
*Updated with this amazing Hodinkee exclusive video interview, where Julien Faure explains how his company makes the finest fabric watch straps in the world.
