IWC released their donation for the Only Watch auction taking place on November 7, 2015. The unique piece, Ingenieur Automatic Edition “Tribute to Nico Rosberg,” features a 46mm case made of solid boron carbide, one of the hardest and most scratch-resistant materials available. The timepiece is powered by an IWC caliber 80110 mechanical movement with a Pellaton automatic winding system and is fitted with a blackened rotor. Completing the ensemble is a unique rubber strap with Dinamica inlay accented with green quilted stitching, the same innovative microfiber used in the Mercedes Benz AMG GT interior.
