Well, it’s finally here. Bentley showed the world its first ever SUV, the Bentayga, and people have opinions. Love it or hate it, this thing exists and it was built in Crewe, UK.
Now the numbers, because that’s why you’re really here. There’s a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 under the hood making 600 bhp. Bentley says it’s the most advanced 12-cylinder engine on the planet. Torque hits 900 Nm from just 1,250 rpm, which basically means it pulls like a train from anywhere in the rev range. An eight-speed automatic does the shifting. Zero to 60? 4.0 seconds. In an SUV. Let that sink in.

Inside, yeah, it’s a Bentley. Leather everywhere, a panoramic roof and seats that massage you while you drive. The massage thing still feels like science fiction to me, but here we are.
First public showing happens at Frankfurt from September 15 to 27. Something tells me the crowds will be thick around this one.
