Say hello to ‘Sailing Yacht A’ – At 468ft (143m) in length, with ship masts nearing 300ft (90m) high, the sail-assisted motor yacht is set to claim the title of world’s largest sailing yacht. Build for Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko at German yard Nobiskrug, the colossal superyacht designed by Philippe Starck has room to accommodate comfortably 20 guests and a 54-strong crew. The superyacht is powered by a ‘hybrid diesel-electric package with controllable pitch propellers,’ Superyachtfan reports. The yacht has a price tag of £260million ($400 million).
