McLaren 570S GT4 Officially Revealed

McLaren Automotive hasn’t forgotten its racing roots. The brand has officially revealed two new track‑only models: the McLaren 570S GT4 and the 570S Sprint.

The 570S GT4 retains the carbon-fibre MonoCell II chassis used across the Sports Series, and comes with magnesium-alloy wheels and Pirelli slick tyres. It features a GT4-spec aero package, including a high-mounted rear wing, and is powered by McLaren’s familiar twin‑turbo 3.8‑litre V8 paired with a 7‑speed SSG transmission. The GT4 shares its foundation with the road-going 570S Coupe, a car that had already made headlines of its own when McLaren Special Operations unveiled a striking one-off version at Pebble Beach the previous summer, showcasing just how far the model’s design could be personalized.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome Ansar to McLaren Automotive in such a key role,” commented McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt. “Motorsport is part of the lifeblood of the McLaren brand, and this role will be key to our long‑term plans as we continue to expand the product range and customer appeal around the world.”

Priced from £159,900, the 570S GT4 is set to debut at the British GT Championship at Brands Hatch next month.
