Lacoste Replaces Crocodile Logo With Endangered Animals

Lacoste Endangered Animals
French sportswear brand Lacoste is temporarily replacing its iconic green crocodile logo with symbols of 10 endangered animal species for a worthy cause. The limited-edition “Save Our Species” collection, created in partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), features 1,775 polo shirts—matching the remaining wild populations of these critically endangered animals.

The species include the Vaquita dolphin, Burmese roofed turtle, Northern sportive lemur, Javan rhino, Cao Vit gibbon, Kākāpō parrot, California condor, Saola, Sumatran tiger, and Anegada ground iguana. Priced at €150 each (approx. $183), all proceeds from shirt sales support IUCN’s efforts to protect endangered species. Any takers?
