Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis is impressing us all with the new Excalibur Spider Unique Series, one of the very few timepieces featuring a minute repeater mechanism housed in a carbon case. Blending modern watchmaking technology with a classic complication, this timepiece is powered by the RD107 Calibre — an automatic movement with two micro-rotors, showcasing the rare combination of a minute repeater and a flying tourbillon.
Housed in a carbon case measuring 47mm, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Unique Series is visually punctuated with different function indicators, tourbillon at 5 o’clock, function selector at 3 o’clock, chiming indicator at 10 o’clock, and “All or Nothing” indicator at 8 o’clock.

The novelty is completed with an interchangeable bi-material strap featuring a black rubber base and black RubberTech inlay, accented by green stitching.
Only one example is to be created, making it a true one-off timepiece.
