French heritage brand released a new update to the Hermès Arceau Squelette timepiece, originally designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978. Housed in a 40-mm steel rounded case featuring an intriguing smoked sapphire crystal that gets darker as it reaches the chapter ring.
The perimeter is inscribed with contrasting silvered ‘galloping’ Arabic numerals and beaded minute markers.
Inside is the Sellita SW300 Skeleton (a variation that’s currently exclusive to Hermès) beating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) with 42 hours of power reserve. As you would expect Arceau Squelette is offered with a choice of five different colours of alligator leather strap crafted by the artisans.
The new Hermès Arceau Squelette is priced at $8,600 and available via the Hermès website as well as authorized dealers.
