Louis Vuitton unveiled a brand new take on the emblematic Tambour watch with the Tambour Damier Graphite Race. Inspired by the House’s iconic Damier Graphite canvas created by Louis Vuitton himself in 1888, the new timepiece echoes Virgil Abloh’s collections, with an eye-catching contrast between black, silver and green.
Available in two different versions: a 46mm large chronograph priced at $8,350 and a smaller time-only model measuring 41.5mm ($5,750). The dial feature the Graphite Damier pattern with Virgil Abloh’s neon-green signature splashed across the entire dial.
For both watches, the iconic Tambour-case is made of sandblasted stainless steel case with anthracite PVD coating, and featuring a smoked-grey sapphire glass caseback, subtly revealing a traditional mechanism.
Both timepieces come completed by Louis Vuitton’s innovative patented interchangeable strap in bicolored rubber.
The sporty, casual new Tambour Damier Graphite Race watches are available on Louis Vuitton’s website now.
