Last year, Panerai celebrated the 70th anniversary of its Luminor line and today is reinforcing its position as the maker of tough-guy timepieces by expanding its offerings in Platinumtech ™, a proprietary new alloy.
Created in the brand’s Swiss Laboratorio di Idee, the new Platinumtech Luminor Marina (PAM01116) comes housed in Platinumtech case and features an olive green dial, sapphire crystal caseback and a metallic ‘70 Year Warranty’ logo.
Inside is the P.9010 Manufacture automatic mechanical movement with three-day power reserve, designed and developed entirely by the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel.
The novelty features an alligator leather strap in dark brown with ecru stitching and a brushed Platinumtech trapezoidal pin buckle; A second strap, chosen according to the customer’s request at the time of purchase is also included.
Priced at $39,600 USD the Panerai Platinumtech Luminor Marina comes in limited edition of 70 pieces and is available exclusively through its network of boutiques.
