Swiss watch brand Breitling has partnered with the iconic motorcycle brand Triumph to produce a special edition Top Time Triumph chronograph and a Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition Motorcycle. The newly unveiled collaboration takes its design cues from the chic motorcycles that epitomized 1960s café-racer culture.
The new Breitling Top Time Triumph 41m chronograph is offered in two versions; one for the public with a distinctive brushed finish in the bow-tie motif nicknamed “the Zorro dial” by collectors ($5,500) and one created for the owners of the new motorcycle with a sunray dial and engraved caseback featuring the individual number of the bike ($5,700).
The watches are powered by the Breitling Caliber 23, a COSC-certified chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
“Triumph’s heritage and modern-retro aesthetic are just two of the many things we have in common,” said Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling. “Their blending of tradition with technology is completely in sync with what we do.”
To celebrate the collaboration the company is launching 270 co-branded motorcycles, the Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition Bike ($18,300) featuring a polychromatic Blue Scheme that’s inspired by the bike used by Marlon Brando in the 1953 movie, The Wild One.
