Bamford London teamed up with Michelin for a new take on its B347 monopusher chronograph, an exclusive 133-piece limited edition that represents each year since Michelin was founded in 1889.
Incorporating a series of graphic racing-inspired touches, the new limited edition Michelin x Bamford B347 Pilot Sport is housed in a 41.5 mm forged carbon case, with a unique strap made from Michelin Pilot Sport 5 test tires, and a black-coated steel caseback with an engraving of the Bibendum (MICHELIN Man).
The matte black dial features a dynamic checkered-flag pattern, white accents, as well as luminous hour and minute hands. Inside is the Sellita SW510 MPa automatic monopusher chronograph movement beating 28,800 bph with 62 hour power reserve.
“What started out as a light-bulb moment, stood next to a line-up of Porsches at a car event with a friend who works at Michelin, has developed into this stunning display of two pioneering brands. The racing-inspired design, lightweight carbon body, integrating the recycled tyre rubber and marking this by adding the tread pattern from their latest tyre – it all works,” said Bamford London founder, George Bamford.
The new limited-edition Michelin x Bamford B347 Pilot Sport is currently available to purchase now for £2,500 (approx. $3,000) on the Bamford London website.
