Porsche Design has teamed up with F.A.T. International, the motorsport community behind the revival of the Zell am See ice race, on a limited edition of the Chronograph 1. The F.A.T. 2025 Edition is the first Chronograph 1 to get a fully luminescent white dial. The watch is built at Porsche’s own manufacture in Switzerland and sits in a 40.8 mm case that is 14.15 mm thick. The case is lightweight titanium finished with a black titanium carbide coating, the same treatment Porsche Design used on the 911 Speedster Chronograph it made for 991 Speedster owners in 2019.
A striking polar white dial, punctuated by black markings and vibrant red accents, sets the stage for this unique timepiece. F.A.T.-specific modifications and a fully luminescent display add to its distinctive character.
Powering the watch is the COSC-certified Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.240, a high-performance movement with a flyback function, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a 48-hour power reserve.
The watch features a convenient quick-change system and includes three straps: a black titanium bracelet, a white Ice Race textile strap, and a Mankei Purple textile/leather option.
Limited to just 136 pieces in honor of the event and inspired by the Porsche 962, the Porsche Design Chronograph 1 F.A.T. 2025 Edition will retail for $11,500. Any takers?
