Italian automaker Ferrari has released the first details about its California convertible for 2013, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The car will be 66 lbs lighter (30 kilograms) and is coming with an upgraded 4.3 V8 engine, that produces 490 PS (360 kW / 483 hp) and 505 Nm (372 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 30 PS (22 kW / 30 hp) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft). Lastly, the California benefits from faster turn-in with smaller steering wheel angles thanks to a new steering box with a 10 per cent quicker steering ratio.
