Givenchy has unveiled the first images from its Spring-Summer 2013 men’s campaign, a project that Riccardo Tisci says celebrates friends and family.
“They are people I love and who love me. It’s about family — something that is difficult to find in today’s world. It’s about real people, only taking the best of their personalities, with no effort,” Tisci said.
Jose Maria Manzanares and Jared Buckhiester appear in the campaign, which was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and styled by Carine Roitfeld. The full men’s campaign is set to debut in January in L’Uomo Vogue, while the women’s campaign will follow later that month in Vogue Paris.
Givenchy’s momentum continued into the new year, with Tisci also introducing the brand’s first timepiece, the military-inspired Seventeen watch, named after his lucky number.
Additional campaign photos are available via FashionMag’s coverage of the collection.
