
English luxury mobile-phone maker Vertu has announced the new Constellation smartphone, offering luxury alongside modern functionality. Handmade in England, the Vertu Constellation features a sapphire glass display and a titanium case covered in calf leather, and is available in five colors: Cappuccino, Black, Orange, Mocha and Raspberry.
“This is a vibrant time for Vertu. This is our second major product launch of 2013 and it helps define a clear segmentation strategy which identifies distinct product lines in the Vertu portfolio. This will broaden Vertu’s appeal, attracting new customers to the brand as well as increasing the choice for our existing global customer base.” stated Vertu Chief Executive Officer, Massimiliano Pogliani.
The Constellation actually has some pretty nice specs, it comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core 1.7 GHz CPU, 32GB of internal memory, 13MP rear-facing camera with full HD video (1080p), 1.3MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth , NFC and 32GB or 64GB storage. The Vertu Constellation will be on sale from October for €4,900 or $6630.
