In keeping with the spirit of the Chinese New Year, Officine Panerai has released a stunning limited-edition timepiece to honor the Year of the Horse. This exclusive release is limited to just 100 units worldwide, making it a rare find for collectors.
The watch features a robust 44mm stainless steel case, protected by an AR-coated sapphire crystal, and offers water resistance up to 50 meters. Powering the timepiece is the Swiss automatic Panerai caliber OPIII, a C.O.S.C. certified movement with 21 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vph, and a 42-hour power reserve.
The true highlight of this edition is the protective crown cover, which has been entirely hand-engraved and polished by Italian master craftsmen to feature a detailed Chinese horse motif.
Available exclusively at Panerai boutiques, this timepiece carries the reference PAM00847.
The Horse wasn’t the last zodiac sign to inspire a Panerai special edition — the brand continued the tradition with the Year of the Rat, further cementing this yearly homage to the Chinese zodiac.
