Racing in Style – As official timekeeper of the Mille Miglia Race, Swiss watch brand Chopard unveiled a new timepiece, the Mille Miglia 2014 chronograph, a tribute to the historical cars taking part in the most renowned of the classic car races. The case measures 42mm x 12.3mm and is available in 18kt rose gold, or in stainless steel; It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 50 meters. Inside is the is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2894-2 with 37 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer. With its red tachometric scale and hands, the dial is vintage white showing the colors of the Italian flag.
Radiating an undeniably masculine aura, the novelty comes on on a brown calfskin Barenia leather strap with an 18kt rose gold or steel pin buckle.
