Pre-Basel 2015 – Swiss manufacturer Breitling is celebrating a century from the creation of the first independent chronograph pushpiece with a limited series of its Transocean model. Reinterpreting the famous 1915 pushpiece, the timepiece features a stainless steel case, measures 43mm x 14.6mm; It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. Inside is the Swiss manual-wind Breitling in-house caliber B14 with 33 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph, with a power reserve of 70 hours.
The caseback features a “100e anniversaire 1915-2015” engraving.
The novelty comes on a Ocean Classic mesh bracelet or a brown crocodile leather strap with a steel deployant.
The timepiece comes in a limited edition of only 1,915 pieces. No word on price. TBA
