Land Rover has joined forces with British designer Sir Paul Smith to create a one-off bespoke version of Defender. Crafted by Land Rover’s newly-revised Special Vehicle Operations, the exterior features over 27 colors, all chosen individually for different reasons. Inspiration was drawn from British countryside and the Defender’s long life in service with the Army, Navy and Air Force. The interior is a mix of leather and fabric.

“I wanted to give this Defender a feeling of luxury. So I used a mix of leather and fabric for the seats. I actually used the fabric that I design for Maharam, the American upholstery company. My designs are known for their attention to detail, so I didn’t want this Defender to be any different.” – explains the legendary fashion designer.
