Continuing his successful collaboration with Audi Sport, the Swiss watchmaker Oris has unveiled the Audi Sport Limited Edition II. Housed in a 44mm case made of titanium and stainless steel with black DLC coating, it features a bi-rotating black ceramic bezel with a minute scale and a rubber-coated ‘good grip’ insert on the outside edge, as well as a double AR-coated sapphire crystal. The watch is dedicated to the groundbreaking Audi R18 e-Tron Quattro, with its silhouette engraved on the case back.
It is powered by the automatic movement Oris Cal. 778, based on the Sellita SW 500, with chronograph, day, and date functions at 3 o’clock. Completing the ensemble is a black perforated leather racing strap with a black DLC-coated titanium folding clasp.
Limited to 2,000 pieces, it will be available in June 2015, priced at 3,900 Swiss Francs (approximately $4,061 USD) MSRP.
