Introduced to the world at the 1959 Paris Auto Salon, this beautiful 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione by Scaglietti is hitting the auction block at RM Auctions sale in Italy at Villa Erba, on May 23rd, 2015. Bearing chassis no. 1953 GT, this intage racing competitor campaigned at the Silverstone Classic and Goodwood Revival, is powered by a 280 bhp, 2,953 cc SOHC Colombo V-12 engine with three Weber 40 DCL6 carburettors, mated to a four-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension with parallel A-arms and coil springs, solid rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs, and four-wheel Dunlop disc brakes.
