Today, we get our first look at the brand-new Yamaha XV950 D-Side by Deus Ex Machina, presented by La Motocarrozzetta. Designed with summer in mind, the D-Side marks the third collaboration between Deus Ex Machina and Yamaha. That partnership goes back further than most riders realize. The shop’s earlier Yamaha build, the XJR1300 Project X, was the one that first brought the two names together, setting the tone for everything that followed.
This build is a masterclass in simplicity and stripped-back style. The Deus Yard Built XV950 D-Side features a custom sidecar system with 19-inch wheels and an integrated surf rack. Key details include handmade Alcantara saddles, Firestone Deluxe tires, an aluminum fuel tank, a rear wooden deck for extra storage, and bespoke paintwork by Kaos Design.
