French fashion house Dior unveiled an awesome video capturing the hand-making process of their new shoe model ‘Dioressence‘. Available in several different colors and materials the house reinterpreted its classic heel from Dior’s spring 1959 collection.
“A touch of color is enough to change your appearance,” wrote Christian Dior in his Little Dictionary of Fashion. Inspired by the couturier’s vision, the Dioressence pumps come in different materials – satiny lambskin, patent or iridescent calf – and a large choice of colors, including two indelibly linked to the House. Black, the most elegant of colors according to Christian Dior, and pale pink, which he considered “the color of happiness and femininity”.
