French fashion house Chanel brought glamour to Havana’s iconic Paseo del Prado, a historic boulevard that anchors the city’s cultural heart. For the Cruise 2016/17 collection, Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld drew inspiration from the “cultural richness and opening up of Cuba.”
The presentation culminated in a spectacular Conga line—a Cuban carnival tradition that transformed the runway into a celebration. The collection perfectly captured Lagerfeld’s vision of merging Parisian elegance with Caribbean vibrancy.
