Chinese company Huawei introduced in cooperation with Porsche Design, a racing inspired smartwatch with professional standard fitness tracking, and the latest smart functions, the Porsche Design Huawei Smartwatch. Housed in high-quality black DLC finish watch case, which is high-resistant to abrasion, the device is water resistant to IP68, runs Android Wear 2.0, and has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, 512MB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM. It follows a similar path to other GPS-focused hybrids chasing that same blend of sport and luxury, like Garmin’s own fēnix Chronos, which paired titanium and sapphire crystal with full activity tracking the year before. Featuring a ceramic speedometer bezel, the Porsche Design Huawei Smartwatch comes completed by a comfortable skin-friendly leather-rubber hybrid watch strap.
Priced at €795 (approx. $927USD) at current exchange rates, the smartwatch is available only for sale in Europe.
