Maison Moynat, one of the oldest French trunk makers, introduced in 2016 the Moynat Gabrielle Bag, a handbag that looks classic but features a modern twist. Named after the Belle Epoque actress Gabrielle-Charlotte Réju, a celebrated theater actress and close friend of label founder Pauline Moynat, the bag features distinctive stitching that echoes the unique shape of Moynat’s iconic Limousine trunk.
Crafted in Box Calf leather or exotic skins, the bag is available in three different sizes. These include the Mini Gabrielle at 20 × 15 × 8 cm ($4,000 USD), the Little Gabrielle at 26 × 18 × 9 cm and the largest of the trio, the Gabrielle, at 31 × 21 × 12 cm.
