Savannah, the 83.5-meter Feadship superyacht, is back in the spotlight as the main star of the Netflix series The Woman in Cabin 10. Delivered in 2015, Savannah earned the Motor Yacht of the Year award at the World Superyacht Awards. Its pioneering hybrid “electro‑mechanical” propulsion yields improved fuel performance over traditional yachts of similar size.
Savannah’s Starring Role in ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’
The Woman in Cabin 10 was predominantly filmed in September 2024 aboard Savannah at Portland Harbour, Dorset, with production costs estimated at $1 million per week. The film, directed by Simon Stone, debuted on Netflix on Friday, October 10 and boasts a cast including Hannah Waddingham, Gugu Mbatha‑Raw, David Morrissey and Kaya Scodelario.
“Based on the bestselling novel The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. While on board a luxury yacht for a travel assignment, a journalist (Keira Knightley) witnesses a passenger thrown overboard late at night, only to be told that it didn’t happen, as all passengers and crew are accounted for. Despite no one believing her, she continues to look for answers, putting her own life in danger.” says the official synopsis.

A Masterpiece of Award-Winning Design
Designed by CG Design and paired with an exterior crafted alongside De Voogt—who handled the naval architecture—Savannah features interiors that eschew straight bulkheads in favour of refined curved partitions. The result is a high‑end interior defined by dark rosewood flooring, silk draperies, highly polished columns and refined metallic accents.

Savannah has six staterooms for up to 12 guests, and the owner’s deck features a spacious forward cabin at the bow, wide corridors leading to a lounge, and a striking spiral staircase.

Unrivaled Features: From an Underwater Lounge to a Helipad
The yacht’s features are world-class and include:
- A semi-submerged Nemo lounge for underwater observation.
- A versatile indoor/outdoor aft area.
- A nine-meter swimming pool.
- A touch-and-go helipad.
- A sun-deck with a DJ station.
- A full gym, spa, and hammam.

Propelled by a hybrid‑diesel system, Savannah cruises at 14 knots and tops out at 17 knots; the 2,305 GT yacht achieves a 6,500‑nautical‑mile range powered by a 1 MW battery bank and a 2,414 hp Wärtsilä 9L20 four‑stroke engine.

The Price of Luxury: Cost and Charter Details
Initially commissioned by the late Swedish‑Canadian billionaire Lukas Lundin, head of the Lundin Group, Savannah reportedly cost about $140 million USD and is available for charter at roughly $1 million per week, offering exceptional luxury. Ready for a week of sailing and maybe a little sunburn?
