Meet Sailing Yacht A. At 468ft long with masts nearly 300ft high, this sail-assisted motor yacht is the largest of its kind in the world. Build for Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko at German yard Nobiskrug, the colossal superyacht designed by Philippe Starck has room to accommodate comfortably 20 guests and a 54-strong crew. The superyacht is powered by a ‘hybrid diesel-electric package with controllable pitch propellers,’ Superyachtfan reports. The yacht has a price tag of £260million ($400 million).
